Journalism, meet Entrepreneurship!

The Danish School of Media and Journalism seeks to help media professionals thrive in an industry with an increasing need for entrepreneurship and business development.

The Challenge

In an ever-changing media industry, it’s sometimes easier to take matters into your own hands and make your dreams a reality. More and more media professionals choose a path as freelancers or business owners. In order to succeed one must not only be talented but also be able to think in terms of value proposition, sales, pricing, self-management, branding, and communication.

The Solution

To meet this challenge, we launched an entrepreneurship course with the Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX). The course consisted of six all-day workshops in which the participants were given the tools to work with strategy, business development, management, and sales - all focusing on their project and passion. They were able to build a network and brainstorm with like-minded and experienced role-models.
