In an ever-changing media industry, it’s sometimes easier to take matters into your own hands and make your dreams a reality. More and more media professionals choose a path as freelancers or business owners. In order to succeed one must not only be talented but also be able to think in terms of value proposition, sales, pricing, self-management, branding, and communication.
To meet this challenge, we launched an entrepreneurship course with the Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX). The course consisted of six all-day workshops in which the participants were given the tools to work with strategy, business development, management, and sales - all focusing on their project and passion. They were able to build a network and brainstorm with like-minded and experienced role-models.
