Security as a service 

The stereotypical image of the “doorman” is changing. Modern doormen actively take part in creating positive experiences for the guests. We helped to update the education for security personnel to meet new standards.

The Challenge

Companies increasingly focus on providing outstanding experiences for their guests. As a result of this, expectations for professions such as doormen are changing. They need to handle security tasks professionally, but at the same time, they must contribute to creating a positive experience for the guests. On behalf of The Secretariat for Adult Vocational Training Programmes (Uddannelsessekretariatet) we examined the changing conditions of the doorman’s profession.

The Solution

Through a series of workshops with the Secretariat, vocational trainers and industry professionals, we created a solid foundation for the development and revision of the education needed to become a doorman. The diversity of the group ensured that the revised education met both educational requirements and industry needs.
